Hogle Zoo and Goofing Around

Hogle Zoo is a lot smaller then what I remembered but it is a nice zoo.

I liked this exhibit the best because we could go inside and it was warm.

Because it was so cold we went through the zoo quickly and saw all the animals. That night we had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. That is my new favorite restaurant.

On the day that we left Brinley started to play in the mirror so we got some crazy pictures.

Brielle looks like she's jumping!

Planetatarium and The Mayan

After Build a Bear we went to the Planetarium and watched an Imax movie Under The Sea in 3D. It was amazing the animals would swim right out to you. It was the best imax experience I had it didn't make me dizzy and the 3D seemed so real you could touch them.
The Planetarium and some great exhibits. The kids liked learning and playing with everything.

Next we ate at The Mayan restaurant. They had Mexican food with cliff divers. The place was amazing with the tropical forest feel. We were treated to front row seats to all the splashing and cliff diving. The food was actually really good. I was so amazed at the cliff divers I forgot to take pictures of them.

This was supposed to be the fountain but it was frozen over still as you can see the snow on top of it.

Spring Break With The Girls

With everyone going there own direction for Spring Break I decided to take the girls down to Salt Lake City. There first stop had to be Build A Bear. The weather was horrible for Spring Break. It rained the whole time on us. But inside Build A Bear it was warm, friendly and dry.

Brielle has a hard time deciding which friend she should pick.

Brinley picks out clothes.
Filling the bears were a lot of fun. The guy who helped them was pretty crazy. They were
a little shy today because they had the whole store to themselves.

Brielle fluffs her lamb.

Brielle registers her new friend. Her favorite part of build a bear is the online world.

Two happy girls with their new friends Lambykins and Lillykins.

Hugs from girls priceless!

50 Year Gap for Family Graduations

May 26, 1959 / June 2, 2009
Spencer graduated from Idaho Falls High School 50 years and one week his grandmother Cherney graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She is on the planning committee for their 50th Class reunion this summer and has been making all the name tags for everyone. She was able to attend and it was quite nostalgic to see her grandson graduate from her old high school. We even walked her past the tiger tile and down the hall of fame where all the trophies and pictures are. As Spencer and grandma were looking at old yearbooks the most noticeable difference in the school was the trees. All the trees are massive now.

Prayers Do Get Answered

We were having the worst luck with cameras! I dropped Whitney's camera on the driveway the night of commencement and couldn't even get the pictures off the memory card. The camera was sent in luckily it was under warranty and it should be back in 7 days. Then after graduation we couldn't find our camera. We assumed I lost it in the parking lot walking out of the school. I was so sad to not have any pictures of Spencer's graduation.

Prayers do get answered! Luckily today I found our camera up in the dishes. Go figure on that one. We are in the cabinet every day for plates and pills. I promise I looked in there when I ripped the house apart trying to find that camera. Anyway I finally can post some pictures. Yes, prayers can be answered we found our camera and our son graduated from high school. Four children to go!
